I was one of four people staying here for a week in May 2012. I have no complaints about this HoJo at all, and was very pleased with the level of service, and value for money. As requested, our rooms had fridges and microwaves, and the four of us were accommodated when we asked that we be put into two... More

The room was comfortable and offered everything we needed but overall the hotel could do with a major face lift. Also there are no elevators so if you have a lot of luggage try and get a ground floor room. A complimentary breakfast is provided (eggs, bacon, toast) or you can use your ticket to get $4.50 off one of... More

We stayed in this hotel on Wednesday for 2 nights and we were glad to leave it. The hotel itself is fine in regrds to the standard you recieve. Plus they are 1 of the few hotels to offer a hot breakfast, and use to the gym next door. The Location is pretty good as you can easily walk to... More

I must say that when I arrived I wasn't certain about the place. However, right from initial reception the service was excellent. I was put in a "home office" room which was large and clean. There was ample room for charging electronics and for working. The bed was comfortable. I ate dinner and breakfast in the attached restaurant - service... More

The hotel is old, worn and tired, and badly in need of reno's. That being said it was kept clean and our stay there was fine. We travelled with a group of families attending a baseball tournament. We had rooms backing the swimming pool. The pool area was a great place for our families to hang out between games. The... More

We arrived as a walk-in client ans were greated by a friendly reception agent. The lobby was nicely decorated with Christmas decorations. The rooms were clean, with a beautiful ocean view. Pet friendly was a bonus. More

I stayed at this hotel while working on the island. It's a great place if you're looking for a place to crash, the bed was comfortable and the room clean. Things are a bit dated, both inside and outside the hotel, so don't stay here if you are expecting a resort feel. Tim Horton's is right close by, so you... More

We booked this room through booking.com to get a cheap rate and we were worried it would be really old and run down because of the look of it in the pics but actually, they were very friendly, very helpful, the room was clean and everything worked. If you are looking for fancy and funky and are willing to pay...this... More

Three of us stayed at this hotel on Friday Sept 16. I chose this hotel because it was close to the ferry terminal and we were heading out for Campbell River. It was late we were tired. The worse thing about the room was the beds and pillows - the room had two queen beds. We were tired and wanted... More

We stayed one night in August 2011. The front desk staff were friendly, accomodating, and provided excellent service. They offer a satisfactory complimentary breakfast (juice, eggs, sausage or bacon). Unfortunately the good quality stops there. This HoJo location is in desparate need of a renovation. This hotel is not AAA rated - and we're not surprised. Stale smoke-y smell permeated... More
