Bayview Terrace B&B; is conveniently located - 8 minutes drive from the ferry, 10 minutes to downtown Nanaimo, shopping, restaurants, and the casino. Nanaimo Golf course is a 5 minute drive away and there are many, many golf courses within a half hour drive. Our Nanaimo accommodations allow you to enjoy all the comforts of home in any of our three luxurious rooms. The Newcastle Suite, with its own kitchenette and ensuite bathroom, The Mount Benson Room with a built-in kitchenette and separate bathroom, and The Christina Room with limited kitchen facilities and a shared bathroom. Both the suite and the Mount Benson Room have their own entrance from private patios with propane barbecues at garden level. Guests can relax on their private patio, or on the large ocean-view guest sundeck with ornamental pond. Enjoy the terraced gardens with its fishpond, or take the steps through the garden that lead you on a one minute walk to watch the seals and sea otters from the beach. The many trees on our property allow complete privacy and seclusion whilst allowing panoramic ocean views. Each room has a queen bed with down duvet and 100% cotton linens. We can provide airbeds to also accommodate up to two children in the Newcastle Suite. In high season (May through September) continental++ breakfast is served in our ocean-view dining room or on the main sundeck. Breakfast includes fresh-baked breads, croissants, muffins and pastries, fruit, yogurt, cheese, cereal, muesli and granola, and of course, juice, coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of teas. Daily housekeeping and breakfast are included in our high season rates. Because we've found that most of our guests don't wish to share a bathroom with strangers, The Christina Room cannot be booked on its own. Guests who book only the Mount Benson Room will have exclusive use of the full bathroom.
