Monivea is conveniently and closely located south of Ganges. Wendy and John are wonderful hosts. They have created a little oasis on this island. My husband and I slept soundly in the River suite. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the breakfasts (herb egg omelet and waffle).

Wendy did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome at this very relaxing and comfortable B & B. We had come for her Kayaking and Spa package. We loved the rooms, gardens, spa treatment and kayaking trip. Fantastic breakfasts -- especially the eggs benedict! A lovely home away from home on a beautiful island.

My husband and I stayed one night at Monivea. It was raining so we could not take advantage of the garden which seems nice. It was the most expensive B&B we stayed at yet was not the nicest. Our room was large, but felt cramped as the ceiling was quite low and there was too much furniture. Breakfast was OK.
