The Greenbrier is situated in a good location for exploring Vancouver, the rooms are a little dated and faded but very clean and large, with most, if not all, being suites. The from of the hotel backs onto the main shopping street - Robson and I have to say, the beeping from the pedestrian crossing can get quite irritating in... More

We arrived at 11 am with a group of 9 people. We had reserved 3 rooms for 2 nights. They said they only had 2 rooms reserved. I had a copy of the conformation in my hand but they said it wasn't the one they received. So 6 of us had to share one room. . The young lady(with the... More

My husband and I stayed at the Greenbier Hotel for 3 nights in August of 2011. Upon our arrival...which was late evening we were greeted by a very pleasant young man. He was very attentive and was very helpful in completeing our check in quickly. It had been an extremely long day for us, flying from the East Coast, so... More

I've been to Vancouver before (2001) and at that time I stayed in a Youth Hostel, south of the old center. Though the Greenbrier Hotel seems a bit run down, it does make for an excellent homebase. It's located on the main shopping street, right between Yaletown, Gaztown and Stanley Park. Nearly all the tourist attractions are at walking distance,... More

This hotel is not chic, boutique nor does it have designer furniture. That is how they describe it on the website. It has worn carpets, sloppy paint job, yellow smoke detectors, old appliances,no ac,no elevator. The breaker box is exposed it the room, but that is a good thing as the breakers trip when the hair dryer is on high. The windows are cheap uninsulated... More

Good value for money. Compared to other hotels in Vancouver this is certainly cheap. Very good location on Robson Street. Nice, large rooms especially the executive suites. Comfortable beds and large TV. Cooking facilities are minimal and you need to ask for extra stuff at the reception. The breakfast however cannot really be called that. It consists only of a... More

We stayed 3 nights here. The good: - large room - nice shower with enough power to clean you good - bed was good with soft pillows - thick curtains that made the room very dark even at full light outside - personnel was very helpful The less good: - breakfast was bad. Only some muffins, coffee and tea. Would... More

We stayed there only 2 nights in 1st week of june. Room was huge its like an apartment. Guest service was extreamly helpful not like a 3 hotel. They gave us lots of information about vancouver attractions and arranged for us city tour. Hotel close to everywhere especially stanleypark seawall and lots of nice restaurants. If your budget around 140... More

We went to Vancouver for a week with my friends. We found this hotel through hotwire. Our hotel staff was very friendly and concerned about us. Room was very big and clean. We weren't expected this big room in downtown. It is like an apartment. The breakfast was enough, and it is include the room price. I have checked other... More
