Rooms were ok. Bit tight for family of 4. Not enough kitchen equipment (is a kettle too much to ask for?). Cleaning wasn't up to scratch - every 4 days not enough. Sofa bed was uncomfortable. The pool and hottub were ok. Location is good - just away from the village, but 2 mins walk and everything available.

We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights during the spring break. Location is not bad - a two-minute walk from the village. IGA and 7-11 are about 5 minutes away (walking). Located about a 10 minute walk (perhaps less in non-ski boots!) from the base of the gondola, Cascade Lodge is exactly what I wanted when I booked it. Overall this was a great place to stay in Whistler if you are on a budget. It is really close to the lower Whistler village (5 min walk) and the free shuttle picks you up right across from the hotel if you do not want to walk to the base of the mountain.
