A group of friends traveling to an event stayed here over Mother's Day weekend -- I think we had about 20 rooms, altogether. Our room, including the roll-away we had requested, was ready for us when we arrived a little early. The beds were clean, comfortable, good quality linens and blankets, excellent bathroom with enough towels for 4. There were... More

Conveniently located if travelling the Trans Canada. We approached from South Dakota. Not near The Forks etc. but maps are available to help. Clean and comfortable, although a bit cramped. Most disappointing was the free internet access, but no computer available to use. We discovered that this is fairly common across the west but this was our first time encountering... More

The reviews for this hotel are spot on. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is traveling and needs to crash for the night. There are a few drawbacks to the pet policy such as the limited "business" area. It is a 3 foot (~1 meter) wide grass area adjacent... More

Warm front desk staff, efficient check in, extremely comfortable bed. Despite location close to road, there was no road noise. Short drive to University of Manitoba. Many restaurants nearby. Refrigerator and Microwave in Room. All this for just over $100/night. More

I've stayed here often as it is very convenient for my business trips. I was here for 2 weeks this time. The hotel is basic but comfortable, the staff are friendly, especially Gerald on night duty. Breakfast is fresh and the offerings are average as per all the hotels in this chain. Winnipeg is absolutely freezing this time of year,... More

Great location after driving in on the perimeter at night. Very easy to find. The front desk clerk "Gerald" went out of his way to find me an extension cord for the van, it was -30C. We had trouble with the heater in our room and were switched rooms within the hour. Nice breakfast in the nook, awesome muffins! More

At 40 below, it was a very cold morning in Winnipeg and my car would not start and at the early hour the staff on duty didn't have access to battery booster cables. A local service station was called, but It took time for the tow truck to arrive causing me to be late for an important business meeting. I... More

I had been to this same hotel the year previously (2009) and there were no issues at all. In fact they didn't charge for the pets in 2009. For this 2010 visit I was travelling with a dog and had a crate for the dog to stay in while being in the room. I was staying for the local dog... More

The hotel is tricky to access but after some skillful driving we managed to arrive at the entrance. The room was small but clean- quite a basic room. There was no fridge or microwave. The disappointing part was the breakfast as we were there at 7:00a.m. and the hotel was full so you would think they would be well stocked. There... More

Found this Comfort Inn a great stay for a few days in Winnipeg. Was attending a dog show and staff were very 'dog friendly'. Clean room, easy to find hotel, nice grounds and kept up also. All the staff were nice and friendly. Would certainly stay again if showing in Winnipeg. More
