On May 8 my new husband and I went to check in. We told Justin (front desk manager) it had been Paul's birthday the day before, our wedding had been that morning and my 50th was the next day.... He put us in the Presidential Suite at no extra charge!!! The rooms were amazing and I honestly didn't want to... More

Enjoyed my stay between Apr 18 - 23/13. Close proximity from airport, mall, grocery store and downtown. Room was spacious, bathroom fully functional, kept clean. Noise levels at a minimum, faced the river, quiet. Continental hot breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, bagels, breads, juices, fruit, cereal, yogurt, waffles/pancakes). Front staff at desk helpful and courteous about it. Price for... More

I feel compelled to submit this review because every time I stay at Chateau Moncton I'm struck with what a great place it is for a business traveller. I'm sure it's a fine choice for non business travellers too but my experience has been to stay there when I'm in Moncton for work. What impresses me are the following: (1)... More

We have stayed here several times, largely because of the location, which is within easy walking distance of many good restaurants, (the hotel does not have a restaurant for dinner, but supplies a pretty good continental breakfast), and a large shopping mall. The rooms are spacious and well kept and the staff are friendly and efficient. Recommended.

First time at this hotel and we were really pleased. Had a regular on the 5th floor facing the chocolate river. The room was well appointed, very clean and extremely quiet. Breakfast was very good even though we arrived only 30 minutes before closing. The bed (one of two queens) was very comfortable and we slept well. Free parking and... More

Classy Place and close to everything. If your staying here try and get a room on the water side so that u can watch the tidal bore roll in twice a day. Clean place, a little more then the other hotels in the area however I enjoyed my stay. Your close to downtown (walking distance ) and your close to... More

Yes, the location is convenient and the parking is free. And, yes, the room does come with a breakfast but let's get real. I normally like to stay at Hampton's so maybe my comparison is not appropriate but if you like to have the more than the basics, don't stay here. Arrived late and went to bed. It was cold... More

Let me start by apologizing for the facecloth in your shower. It is completely unacceptable and will be addressed immediately with the housekeeping staff to prevent any further occurrences. With regards to our room temperatures, all our thermostats are set between 20-22 degrees. The majority of our guests are comfortable at this temperature; those who aren't simply adjust it up... More

Last time I was in the area for work I stayed down the street at the Delta which was nice but as a, shall we say, thrifty, business traveler, I prefer the Chateau Moncton for the following: 1) Free parking, 2) very decent free breakfast, and 3) reward points that I'll use. Besides that the room was very clean and... More

Not your average hotel room. Nice bedding and towels, friendly staff and a good breakfast available. Nice to be able to look out at the river either in your room or while you get a bite to eat. You may pay a little more, but I felt it was worth it.

I stayed on business and elected to choose the slightly less expensive single queen room. There are only three of these rooms and each is located at the very end of the corridor, farthest away from the elevator. Their position, though, means the fire escape and halway cut into the floor space very significantly. This room was tiny. There was... More
