I have used this hotel several times in the last 20 years or more. I like the quote from another reviewer calling the hotel “Lovely Old Lady” yes this hotel is old and some of the room look like they did in the 1930’s and that’s what I like about the hotel it has character!! They also have a lot... More

Stayed for three nights. Best accommodations in the city for location and comfort. Some minor oversights upon check-in which were quickly resolved. Hotel was full for a convention but distractions and noise were minimal. Code for WiFi was extremely confusing as it was different from that stated. Worked well once I figured it out. A very comfortable stay. More

When it was opened in the 1920s, it was probably the best and most prestigious in Corner Brook. Now it is just a tired old lady with shabby furniture in the common areas, and, for the most part, an inattentive and non-caring staff. The rooms in the new section are fine, and the food in the main dining room is... More

It's another in a group of outdated Steele hotels in NL that all need updating. Check in is painful to say the least with outdated equipment and having to fill out the same form everytime you stay there. No loyalty program which is why I usually choose somewhere else. Rooms are old and there are a wide range of what... More

We stayed for one night transiting through a drive to Port-au-Basque. Overall: A comfortable and quiet place for an overnighter, but pricey. What’s Good: We had a largish room with two queen beds. Coffee machine in room. There were several rooms of students staying nearby, and the room seemed to insulate most noise. It’s a historic hotel with an interesting... More

I recently stayed at Glynmill Inn while on a business trip and while conducting a meeting at the hotel. I booked my room by phone and was a little surprised at the rate but that's where I had to stay this trip. Check in was OK but it took longer than it should have in my opinion. My room was... More

Although we only spent one night at the Glynmill Inn, we had a very enjoyable stay. We were in town to go ziplining at Marble Mountain (Marble Zip), which we highly recommend! We booked a junior suite for four people at the very reasonable rack rate of $189. When we arrived in the afternoon, we were surprised to learn that... More

We stayed for two nights. This 80 or 90 year-old building has been maintained on the outside in its original style, while the inside is fairly modern. The rooms are up to date with good beds, and are clean. The hall floors creak a little, but it's part of the charm. We used 2 dining rooms and the bar, and... More

My wife and myself and friends spent two nights at the Glynmill Hotel, in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. The hotel is about 90 years old and stands in it's own grounds, near to the centre of town. We were greeted by friendly reception staff given basic information on the area. Our rooms were clean and spacious, though the bathroom's could have... More
