Nice hotel, quiet and clean but don't expect anything extra. All you get is a nice clean room to stay in a convenient location. There is some construction going on which should be over soon.

We stayed at the Chateau Nova for a week in February 2012 which was booked for us through Yellowknife Outdoor Adventures and really enjoyed it. Internet only works if you have sahw. rooms are noisey (can hear you neighbour beside and above you). resteraunt is OK but super slow service. Rooms are clean m.aid service is good.

I apologize that you had issues with your stay. We do plan to have the new wireless internet system installed prior to spring. We have recently changed to a smoke free property (March 1st) and aniticpate the smoke smell to be gone soon as well. Thank you for your feedback.

As stated in other reviews the hotel is under renovation however most of the things that are wrong the renovations won't fix.

On business in Yellowknife. Booked hotel weeks in advance. On arrival found out that the hotels internet service has not been working for three weeks. Hotel did not advise. Just very bad service. Not to mention no hot water in the shower when it's minus 26 degrees. Donlt stay here!

The Chateau Nova has obviously seen better days. It would seem that they are trying to improve, but there's a fair ways to go yet.
