“Beautiful stay in a great house. Direct access to the ocean”

We had two nights in this wonderul house. Sleeping room, living room and ensuite bathroom on our own. Own exit to the waterfront. Landing stage direct behind the house. Nice few on the ocean. We stayed for two nights, in the Blue Whale room which was very comfortable, and everything was spotless. I was a little unsure about having a 'private bathroom' rather than an en-suite, but this was not a problem as it was directly opposite our bedroom and the Blue Wale room is the only bedroom on the ground floor. My parents, husband and I stayed with Joan in her wonderful b&b in Herring Cove for 6 nights. It is about a 10 minute drive into Halifax and is a nice drive along the water passing a few yacht clubs.
