My family and I drove 11 hours from Chicago to Niagara Falls, Ontario. We arrived exhausted at the Courtyard by Marriott Saturday, May 26 at 4 AM. During my drive, I had a sinking feeling about choosing the hotel based on recent TripAdvisor postings (see May 20, 22 & 23-2012) concerning the rooms and staff. I initially chose Courtyard based... This hotel was at one time one of the best places to stay in the Niagara Falls Canada area. Not any more. The hotel is in need of being updated. My wife and I decided to stay at the Courtyard on our two day trip to the Falls on May 20 & 21. Since we've stayed at this hotel in... More

I would have given this hotel, a higher grade because they're good for the front desk service, well designed and thought out lobby, the room looking exactly like the advertisement picture. I loved the whirlpool jacuzzi in the room and the room was quite spacious. But dont expect any view out the window, no picturesque scenery or gardens, or scenic... More

check your bed before you lie in it. the mattress was completely saturated with urine, the smell was pungent in the air. housekeeping had just made the bed over the mess and i only discovered it by pulling back the covers and laying down. completely disgusting, unprofessional and unacceptable. DO NOT STAY HERE More

Overall the hotel was nice, It's clean and they did accomadate the special requests for extra towels, pillows, etc. The furniture needs to be replaced, lots of use damage with scratches and dings, basically showing wear. It's a good location, easy to walk to main attractions. There is an information board in the lobby as is common in this chain... More

My boyfriend booked this hotel through priceline for July 15-17, 2011. The price was great! When we arrived we asked for an upgrade. For only around $20 we were upgraded to a room with one king size bed, a fireplace and a whirlpool tub. The hotel is kept very clean and the rooms are nicely appointed. The only issue that... More

Had a great stay at this Courtyard. Rooms were very adequate and clean. Staff very helpful everytime we had a question. Had even a small view of the Falls from our room. We were able to walk to everywhere - but walk back is all uphill but doable. Had two meals in The Keg - first one was great, second... More

The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to Clifton Hill and the free wifi in the rooms. Higher priced hotels don't have this. It is a mid priced family hotel. Great for families but I'd pay more for a romantic hotel. It is only 10 stories high, so you do not get a view. Close to all the... More

The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodations were clean. There's wi-fi, a pool, and a small arcade for the kids. More than adequate for a quick weekend family get-away. We bought tickets online for Ripley's Believe It or Not, Louis Tussaud's and the Moving Theatre. Good value for what they are.. The wax museum was the most fun of... More
