Just stayed there this past weekend and got bed bugs bites. Gross. The room was okay looking, and it was nice and close to town. but dealing with the bed bugs now since i have returned home will not be fun.

Damp smell on arrival but clean room, and first floor better than ground unless you want to have easy access to beer from your RV cos there's no fridge. Ground floor really poor but first better. If you live in a run down council estate then you'll be a tad impressed, if you are working class like me then you... More

Woke up covered in bedbugs bites. Better stay away from this place evenso it was recommended by the tourist office. The rooms appeared clea. The staff was very nice. Excellent location and great view.

Motel is basic re:amenities, but well maintained and reasonable for Niagara on the Lake. The advantage of being in walking distance of the Shaw Festival main theatre solves the expensive parking problem. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This place is what it is. We had no issue finding it, lots of parking, front desk person was there when got there. The rooms are small and appeared to be clean. If you are looking for a night or two with no planning on staying any length of time in the rooms (size), then this will suit you fine.

My wife and I were looking to visit the Shaw Festival and were looking for a simple clean place to stay one night. We did not need any of the upgrades that other hotels provided. The Anchorage was perfect. It is a simple clean motel within easy walking distance of the main street and theatres.

Simple, clean and comfortable accomadations. Perfect for us. Our group was in town for a family party and needed an inexpensive room for two nights. The AC worked great and was needed during the day. The nights were cooler, so it was nice that the windows opened for fresh air. We were close enough to walk to the water and... More

I had read some of the previous reviews and will admit, I was apprehensive about booking, however, was pleasantly surprised! My husband and I were scheduled to go up to NOTL on a Friday. He became ill so I had to cancel. The girl who I spoke with was WONDERFUL! She was very accomodating about picking another date and even... More

We have been going to the Anchorage for 20 yeras now and still love the location near the water, friendly staff and being off the main drag. Though the restaurant is closed and breakfast is no longer included they supplied us with much needed decafe coffee. Not upscale but neither is the price.

I booked in for a Saturday evening stay on the Victoria Day weekend. Upon arrival, no one was there to meet me. It took over 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. When they arrived they had lost my reservation. They told me they did not have any rooms left and I would have to go elsewhere.... More
