Byward Blue Inn is nothing fancy. This hotel is blessed with a great location and very friendly staff. They provide breakfast AND an afternoon snack. The rooms were very plain and reminded me of a room in residence at university, but the bed was pretty comfortable and that's what counts - I wasn't spending much time there except to sleep anyway.

Lobby is a little old school and smells of smoke, but aside from this, the place is a great value. Rooms were very comfortable and linens fresh and clean, and the breakfast was also good. Location is awesome, and front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
