Average place, food in house was marginal. Nothing to do in the village....will stay in Peterborough next time. No theatres, public transportation, or activities. Pretty sleepy especially if you are on business and would like something to do at night. Having to drive into Peterborough all the time was a bit of an aggravation.

We went thinking the would be kind of like an overnight getaway, but found the rooms to be very basic. Clean and comfortable enough, but certainly not a getaway. Nicely located on the main street, but surprisingly quiet, especially considering the Thirsty Loon pub is just downstairs.

The hotel and the staff are really nice. Comfortable rooms, cleaned nicely etc. It was a good stay and certainly was not unconfortable at all. On Friday nights the music from the loon does come through the floor but it finished by 1, The breakfast is included and the buns from the bakery are nice. Thanks
