Recently spent a night at the Cabbageville B&B and we were more than satisfied! We received a kind welcome and lots of info from the very personable owner. Our room was clean, cozy and inviting and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was just right - an ample buffet with fresh breads, cheese, fruit, yogurt etc. Neighbourhood was quaint and... We stay there two nigths in August 2012. The room was clean and cozy. The madam renting the house was very polite, she has a lovely cat. Continental breakfast was delicious, we would stay there again! It seems like home!!!

Sometimes it's best to wait a few days before you write a review as it adds perspective to your journey. While it is easy to set an impossibly high standard for yourself it's a good idea to stand back and compare what is on offer. We booked Cabbageville, with exclusive use of private bathroom ( it's cheaper to share bathroom... More

Thank you Stephanie and Len - I so enjoyed your stories and am sure I learnt a lot from them! Since your stay, I have done a small alteration to your bedroom, incorporating the passage into the bedroom, and it makes a great difference - I am very excited about it. You will have to take my word for it,... More

Cabbagetown is a delightful, pretty neighborhood just a block off a bustling, lively neighborhood. This home of proprietor Gailo (and her family) is charmingly and lovingly appointed. Breakfast is very nice, with offerings of cheeses, fresh bread, jam, juice, cereal and coffee is available at any time. Gailo will sit and chat with you if you like, but is discreet... More

We enjoyed staying in Cabbageville. It's a peaceful area in walking distance to lots of downtown spots (maybe a long walk for some places). The B&B was a comfortable place to stay, breakfast was good and the owner is nice. We'd stay here again on a future visit to Toronto.

A lovely bijou B& B in an historic part of Toronto. Gailio is an excellent hostess & goes out of her way to help in any way she can. Breakfast comprises cereal, cold meats, cheeses, fresh bread etc. Parking overnight can be a problem in this area so I would advise booking the parking spot (10$CAD per day) if you... More

Great B and B in a lovely neighbourhood. Gailo delivers outstanding hospitality. Rooms are very comfortable and major attractions are nearby. Excellent restaurants just around the corner. As frequent travelers we highly recommend it.

Very pleasant B&B in a great location. The proprietor, Gailo Borland, is an extremely interesting person. She's also very helpful and friendly, but also tactful enough to leave you alone if that is your preference. Queer people and those who love them will feel especially welcome, as you can tell from the way Gailo decorated her staircase (see my photo).

This is my third visit this year, what more can I say. I have stayed at many hotels, motels and B&B's this fantastic B&B just gets better and better. My stay this time was for 12 nights, comfort, breakfast, having air con (a real asset) and great hosts, always make staying there a real pleasure. Nothing is ever too much... More

Thank you very much for the very nice time we've spent at yours place. We've really enjoyed the accommodation and the delicious breakfast. Your B&B is strongly recommendable! Once we'll come back to Toronto, we'll stay once again at Cabbageville.
