We booked the room through hotwire and got a king size bed. When we got to hotel, we could not park underground (the lever would not open), there was no one outside to offer the valet service so we parked in the lot just outside the hotel. It was convenient but a bit more expensive than the hotel's charges. When... More

Stayed overnite in this hotel. The room was beautiful, clean, well appointed. The price was reasonable for Toronto. Would definately stay here again. Only thing I would suggest is that you fix the tub taps. When you pulled the lever up for the shower, there was still quite a bit of water coming out of the spout. Not a big... More

We stayed here for my graduation from U of T, and brought both sets of parents. After booking, we read some of the other reviews, and were a little concerned. My wife and I have stayed in them all: dingy Cairo holes in the wall, exquisite 5-star resorts, and others in-between, so we weren't worried about our stay. We were... More

The airport shuttle dropped me off right infront of the hotel, and the staff was very helpful and polite throughout my stay. My room was clean and from the 16th floor I had a great view of the CN tower. However, the restaurant in the hotel is definitely not worth it. I paid $11 for a spinach salad that had... More

The covering of dust in the room was like nothing I'd ever seen in even a motel before. Truly gross. Clearly no one had stayed in our room in a long time. Wait times at the front check-in and out were extremely long (1/2 hour), and the parking situation at the hotel sucked (actually it was non-existant - we had... More

I paid 150$ + taxes + breakfast = 200 $, which is a rip off for this hotel. Except for its excellent locations there is nothing good I can say about the hotel. It is rated a 4* hotel but I would rate it as 3* the most. Beware that there is a huge difference between the room. Do not... More

Centrally located in downtown Toronto; rooms are relatively small and although fittings are a bit dated, everything is in good working order. Free Wi-Fi is good and pretty fast. Guests are given a voucher which brings the breakfast buffet price to a reasonable level. Buffet is rich and very nicely presented. More

A pleasant, clean and sunny room, a bit dated perhaps but comfortable. But the fridge wasn't working, the free wireless internet dropped out every few minutes, the noise from the next room was appalling, and the staff rude and indifferent, to put it mildly. I don't care for turndown service - but why only 1 night in 6? I complained... More

We checked into our first room after 10pm, we were tired and just wanted to sleep. The room was so bad, the carpets looked about 50 years old, hair in the bathtub, and to top it all off, there was a used band-aid just lying on the floor. We obviously complained and got upgraded to another room. This one was... More

Located just two blocks away from Yonge and Dundas, the Metropolitan Hotel has a great location. Walking distance to Toronto Eaton Centre, Massey Hall, Nathan Philips Square and the subway. I stayed overnight with friends and the front desk agents did not crack a smile. There were no open spots for parking or valet parking so we had to park... More
