Totally great customer service. They remember you by name and go out of their way to ensure everything is cool with you. I had big time lower back issues on my trip and they were kind enough to come up to my room with an extension cord and help me get a heating pad set up. They offered to call... More

I visit Toronto regularly on business and have geneally used the usual Front Street hotels but last visit tried out the Le Gernain and was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms are excellent and, importantly, have free internet (I detest paying for internet after getting hit for an expensive room !). They are nicely decorated and well finushed and large with... I have been looking for a good Toronto alternative to the Royal York for business trips. I had stayed at the Calgary location of Le Germain and a colleague recommended the Toronto Le Germain. It was very good. Rooms had the level of luxury and comfort that I enjoy at Sofitel Montreal and staff were friendly. I especially liked the... More

My wife and I stayed here on our first visit to Toronto. The hotel and it's staff are excellent. The rooms are very well designed, everything worked as it should and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in. The friendly staff always had a warm welcome and the location put many sites within walking distance.... More

The hotel is beautifully designed. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Bathrooms are very interesting, with shades overlooking the rooms. These are the ups, and if you're into minimalistic design this is your place. On the other hand, the hotel is in Toronto's Financial District, which means that it's being encircled by huge skyscrapers and after office hours the... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your review; I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the design of the room and the hotel. I can understand why you felt it was not an animated street after the office hours as we are located on quiet one way street. We are however in the heart of the entertainment district, west of... My wife and I stayed here during our marriage weekend and it was lovely. The hotel itself is in the middle of the entertainment district, within walking distance of nightclubs (The Second City comedy club is literally across the street) and lovely restaurants. Despite that (or perhaps because of it) the hotel is very elegant without being overstated. Walking in,... More

My new wife and I stayed at Hotel Le Germaine on Mercer Street for 4 nights April 6th onwards. We'd just got married in New York in the US and wanted to visit Toronto to relax after the wedding. As we pulled up at the hotel we were very impressed with how stylish the place looked. Being on Mercer Street... More

Had a great experience. Friendly staff, very attractive, if traditional, design (both the rooms and lobby), continental breakfast was quite good, location is convenient for most parts of downtown Toronto. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. More
