I stayed at this place for two weeks to study in Toronto. The overall experience here for me was satisfying despite the negative reviews that I had read. Some of the rooms here are small. If you want to have a quiet place to sleep, ask for a room that does not face the road. I heard cars roaming on... More

I am local to Toronto, and this is my preferred value hotel when I need to stay downtown for any reason. Keeping in mind my expectations for clean, safe accommodation with few amenities, the Econolodge at Gerrard & Jarvis far exceeds those expectations. The rooms and linens are clean. The presence of a fridge in the room is helpful. The... More

My family and I stayed in the Econo Lodge for a couple of days in order to see the sights of the city and to get a taste of the Canadian lifestyle as we are trying to emigrate to Canada. On first arrival the city was very overwhelming (compared to the relatively small town in which I live). When we... More

Was very disappointed with the neighbourhood and over all quality of the room. This hotel was very affordable, we paid $75 for a queen room tax included but $140 for the suite which had a 2nd level for 2 double beds. Surprised to find the jacuzzi tub but the price for the suite was too much. We mad the mistake... More

Location is closed to down town, but the surrounding lack convenience for dinning. The staff are helpful but may depends on who is on duty. The rooms are small, but otherwise, clean and nicely kept. More

we've been there nights during Thanksgiving long weekend. No reservation. We arrived really late in the evening and after trying some other hotels (with much higher rates than what seen on internet, also considering the hour...no flexibility nowhere..) we decided to stay at this hotel. Price affordable, no parking but public parkings very close by. The receptionist was kind and... More

This is a bit of a belated review I stayed in the Econo Lodge about a year and a half ago on my first trip to Canada and I can say that it was perfect for what I wanted. There is no lift but then again it does not have that many floors so that is not a major drawback... More

The accommodations were good. There's no elevator. Granted, there really are no high floors. However, an elevator would have made getting my luggage up to my room a little easier. The continental breakfast was okay. But you can easily walk to a nearby diner, restaurant or fast food place like McDonald's if you want something more. My room had a... More

My son and I drove up to Toronto from Niagara Falls in August just to take a look and decided to spend the night. We didn't have any reservations so when we happened by the EconoLodge we were able to get a double room there. The room was great and the free breakfast was what you would expect in this... More

Me and a friend were going to Toronto for two nights and booked last minute. Because it was the week of the Toronto International Film Festival this was one of the only hotels still available. We booked what was discribed as a Queen room. The room was extremely small but clean. The continential breakfast was comprised of bagels/toast, coffee, orange... More
