We were extremely pleased with this beautiful heritage home and it's grounds. Our hosts Randy and Stacy were entertaining, accomodating, gracious hosts. We stayed in the Loft and friends stayed in the Victoria Room and we all enjoyed our quiet accomodations. Breakfast was delicious and it was great to meet other guests from the US and Australia. We highly recommend... More

I arrived after dark on a rainy Friday night and had some difficulty reading road signs due to poor visibility. As I drove slowly down North River Road, an impressive heritage home came into view, flood lit and beautifully decorated for fall. I'd arrived! My first impression was sustained as I was warmly greeted by the owner, Stacey, who despite... More

Dawson House was one of those wonderful surprises that you are sometimes lucky enough to find on your holidays. The hosts, Randy and Stacey are just great and make you feel instantly welcome. Randy is a character and has some great stories which keep you laughing. Their knowledge of Charlottetown was very helpful and Stacey's suggestion to walk along the... More

Great location, easy 15 minute walk to downtown area! Randy and Stacey are amazing people! Stayed 2 nights in the Victoria room ! Randy makes some stellar omelettes. Nice pool area to chill in after a long day of walking downtown. There's a fridge to store your nice cool beverages! If it's a hot day most likely randy will be... More

I stayed recently at The Dawson House in Charlottetown, PEI. I enjoyed my stay very much. The house itself is a beautiful representation of 19C Victorian Homes. The decor is appropriate to this period, although there is a modern pool and deck at the back. I stayed in the Premier Room overlooking the back. The room was large and peaceful... More

Overnight guests from New Zealand, Ottawa and North Carolina made for a lively breakfast table in the lacey dining room at Dawson House. We were attracted to the Heritage Home by the Victoria Room, a third-floor knockout with high four-poster bed, fine linens, decorative netting -- and windows overlooking Charlottetown on three sides. The young owners talked easily any time... More

Geraldine and I planned our first ever visit to PEI(and Canada) on 20-21st June 2012. On arrival in Charlottetown we went to the tourist office where the helpful staff gave us options for our stay and rung around several of the B&Bs in that part of town( near the centre-we were to meet some people in the evening). We chose... More

Our home away from home in Charlottetown! I researched B&B's in Ch Town for about two weeks, finally settling on The Dawson House. I liked the way the house looked on their website, warm and welcoming. I wasn't sorry about making that choice. The house is lovely, inside and out. We spent a week there in The Captain's Room and... We recently spent 2 nights at The Dawson House and loved it. Stacey and Randy were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming. The house is in a great location, we were able to walk into the downtown area for dinner each night and easy access to the highway when travelling out of town. Our room was spotless, very bright and... More
