We loved the restaurant at the hotel - especially the 'all you can eat mussels' The creme brulee is also worth a special mention - it was delicious!. Hotel has a good gift shop and laundry service. Room was good and the hotel is in a good location. Included breakfast was only average. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. More

I stayed here years ago when this hotel was new. That was a long time ago, and the hotel is well maintained, but compared to other offerings in Montreal, it's become a bit tired. It's become the hotel of choice for inexpensive group accommodation, so it's got a good rate, a good location, but the hotel is a bit tired.... More

By far the WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I have ever encountered!!!! I got to the hotel mid afternoon, there were a large group of teenagers everywhere in front of the building and in the lobby, I checked into my hotel room, upon entering the hotel room I heard a toilet flush, I thought to myself, wow, very thin walls, then the... We stayed one night at this hotel. Check -in was smooth. We got to back to the room and it was very basic. It was very cold and we turned on the baseboard heaters which did eventually warm up the room.We were told that parking was full and would have to park at the lot next door-It would be $10... More

This was my first time to Montreal. what a horrible hotel for a first time experience. the receptionist was awful. Apparently, they have a new years policy (which was not on there website). you are given wristbands upon arrival. they took photocopies of all the guest id's and you where not allowed to bring liquor in bottles to you room.... Stayed there for New Years Eve with a group of friends. Would not do so again. We were forced to wear wrist bands for the duration of our stay to prove we were guests (thought that was why we had room keys), and the hotel would not allow friends from other hotels to come up to our rooms to meet... We found Hotel Lord Berri well located to see Montreal and Vieux Montreal. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Having a restaurant on the ground floor, accessible from the lobby was lovely as we arrived late. It was also good if you wanted an early breakfast too. The staff were efficient and helpful. More

This was my first time in Monteal, and it started out fantastic because of this hotel. A fantastic front desk agent by the name of Catherine welcomed us to the hotel and made us feel right at home. The room was quite nice and the beds very comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant on our last day there and... More

Good location, close to metros, st. catherine, and old montreal. We walked around a lot, and the bixi bikes were great for getting us to places further away. The room was nothing special, and the A/C was loud and the room felt very damp and sticky the entire time. It was not fun to come back to after a long... More
