We loved the restaurant at the hotel - especially the 'all you can eat mussels' The creme brulee is also worth a special mention - it was delicious!. Hotel has a good gift shop and laundry service. This was my first time to Montreal. what a horrible hotel for a first time experience. the receptionist was awful. Apparently, they have a new years policy (which was not on there website). you are given wristbands upon arrival. they took photocopies of all the guest id's and you where not allowed to bring liquor in bottles to you room.... Stayed there for New Years Eve with a group of friends. Would not do so again. We found Hotel Lord Berri well located to see Montreal and Vieux Montreal. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Having a restaurant on the ground floor, accessible from the lobby was lovely as we arrived late. It was also good if you wanted an early breakfast too. The staff were efficient and helpful. More
