Stayed here while in Montréal for 2 nights for a Bruins game. 5 minutes from the Bell Center and right on the corner of Crescent street. Shared bathrooms were spotless. We parked at Stanley autoparc a few blocks away and it was really affordable. I highly recommend the Hotel Y!

Great location (just a few blocks away from 2 subway stations and near St. Catherine Street), very clean, quiet and spacious room, with TV and a small fridge. The bathrooms are also spotless. There's a computer for the guests with free internet and a fully equipped kitchen, where you can cook your meals. If you're not into cooking, there are... More

The location is very convenient. the room was clean, comfortable and quiet and contained everything I needed. A great hairdrier, the right size and shape.!! I did my own breakfast and met some interesting people in the kitchen. Friendly staff on the front desk.

This hotel gives good value and an excellent location. As a single female traveller, I like the extra security of the front desk, and it was handy for taking (English and French) voice messages as I was in town for a funeral. The staff couldn't do enough to help me find to places, and recommend a good breakfast spot around... More

Crescent Street contains a bock of clubs and bars (near the YWCA), two blocks of restaurants and stores (slightly further up the hill), and the amazing, newly-restored Museum of Fine Arts three blocks away. I've stayed at the YWCA in the "hotel" rooms with private bath on the seventh floor, and with student groups on the sixth floor. Payment is... More

The hotel is very good considering its priced and advertised as a hostel-clean and comfortable beds in relatively large rooms, serviced daily with cable television as well. Showers and toilets are shared but clean, was very quiet when I visited (Dec 2011). There is no breakfast included though there is a restaurant attached (Cafe Imagination), I only had breakfast there... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in November 2011. The room was clean and comfortable, and included a fridge, hair dryer, and coffee maker. I slept well, and the hallways were quiet. I would stay here again. Breakfast is not included. Parking is not included, but there are 2 parking lots on Crescent Street that charge $20/day (this is typical... More

This was my third time staying at the YWCA in Montreal and it has been a nice stay every single time. We stayed in a room with a double bed and washroom facilities in the room, which was perfect for our needs. The other two times that I have been here, I stayed in a room with 2 double beds... More

I recently returned from staying in the Auberge/Hostel section of the YWCA. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and quite spacious. The bathrooms and showers were also clean and well-kept. The location is great. 5 minutes walk from the Lucien L'Allier subway station, and 10-15 minutes walk from the central train station (Gare Centrale). The street it's on (Crescent St)... More
