Given the price range, one should not expect 5 star everything. Having said that, I have stayed at higher rated hotels/ b & b's which this places easily beats for service, facilities, and location. I note the earlier bad reviews, and can report that most of the issues have been addressed. The overly high expectations of some travellers cannot be... More

We were looking for a place to stay within the old city walls of Quebec City for a reasonable price. Luckily, we found Au Petit Hotel and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The price for the room was very inexpensive. The room was simple, but we had our own bathroom and found everything to be very clean. The... More

We arrived late in the afternoon in Quebec not havinf any reservations, we drove around town trying to find a place in one of the hotels or B&B's suggested by our travelguide. Sine those places were all fully booked we just started te enter any hotel to ask if there were rooms available. Luckily this place had rooms available. The... More

Sadly, I ignored the few negative reviews on this site because of the charming appeal of the photos of this hotel. The location turned out to be its only asset. However, about five hotels were adjacent, so any of those would have been better. We left after two nights for Hotel Bellevue which was leagues better. Au Petit Hotel is... More

This small hotel is wonderfully situated within the Old City. A short walk takes you to restaurants and shops, and a short walk in the opposite direction takes you to the Chateau and funicular. We were aware of the steep steps inside the hotel (thanks to previous reviews) but our request for a room on the first floor was attended... More

This was the cheapest hotel I could find in the old city, less than 2 blocks from the wall and just on the other side of the wall from the Parliament building. I reserved it and then later read some bad reviews, but there was nothing else available. We were pleasantly surprised! The room was small, but clean and comfortable,... More

Sorry, but is my fisrt time I have a bad experience with a Hotel. The custumer service is a priority in this type of bussiness. Service bad, place good, but service very bad. Is not the best atmosphere to be. Sorry, try to be better. More

Au Petit Hotel was a very pleasant suprise. As a start to our 2 week east coast tour, we wanted a reasonably priced hotel inside the walls of old Quebec City. The hotel was easy to find in the middle of all the activity, but just off the main road in front of the gated convent entrance. The rooms are... More

The room was absolutelly clean and the furniture was OK. The private bathroom was great. The hotel does not have a dining room, but you get the breakfast served in the room. Although the staff did not speak very good english or french (neither do I), the communication was good and the service was excellent. More
