I am torn between giving rating this hotel a 3 or a 4. The issue is that the building is from the 1800s so you should set expectations accordingly. So the main features are the location and the price- it is right in the heart of the old city, and the price for that location is very good. You can... More

We loved the location, walk to everything. Rooms are quite large, The front desk is part time in a gift shop so when they show you to your room make certain to note which front door you go in as there are at least two. We didn't realize this and came back late unable to get in. Other guests happened... More

Great location in the Old City, walking distance to great restaurants, shops, etc. Room was very large and clean. There was a mini fridge and free wifi. Would stay here again as the price was reasonable given the location and parking close by and also a good rate.

Very convenient place to stay in the heart of Vieux Quebec - small, old Hotel above a convenience store with spacious, clean rooms but limited facilities. No reception service after the store closes, but all arrangements can be made beforehand, inlcuding the parking (off site, but close enough). You can watch the tourists and horse buggies stream by right from... More

We stayed here for three nights in August 2012. Not a hotel as much as some rooms above shops in the old part of the city -- a very touristy area but charming nonetheless. You can walk everywhere from this very central location. Our third floor room (no elevator) was surprisingly quiet, considering the busy street just below, and was... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Location is perfect! Hotel is located above a souvenir store, so there is no staff 24/7. Room was big and clean, bed comfortable. Interior was old, Lets call it vintage. Bathroom was very spacious and advocado green;-) Free wifi, ac and fridge in the room. Get youre parking garage ticket trough the... More

Hotel Location is perfect. Entrance is like you are entering a shop from rue Saint-Louis. In fact, the reception is inside the shop... so it is not a real reception. Its a dual purpose office acting as the cashier for the shop and reception for the hotel. Therefore the reception closes at 9 p.m. so you have to check-in before... More

We waited until we crossed the border into Canada from NE Vermont to book a room in Quebec City. The Canada tourist office, just inside the border, had an extremely helpful young man who is willing to search and search for special deals offered through the tourist office. While we could have gotten a slightly better rate outside of the... More

Excellent location in old Quebec - walking distance to Chateau Frontenac, Place D Armes, Funicular, Basilica, citadel, Parliament building. St Louis has numerous restaurants to choose from. Food is NOT cheap though. The hotel - Clean rooms, Marie-Eve at the reception booked our rooms for us and she was EXTREMELY helpful with providing us information about the hotel, location and...
