Chose this place after reviewing comments on trip advisor and were certainly not disappointed. Clement and his wife make every effort to make you welcome. We arrived after a long drive from St John in New Brunswick and were amazed by the welcome and the effort made by Clement to make our stay in Quebec as pleasant as possible. The... More

I cannot say enough good things about the Auberge Moisan Bed & Breakfast. This B&B and Quebec City are like a visit to Europe, but closer to home. I highly recommend this place if you are planning a trip to Quebec City. My wife and I are already planning another trip to Canada, and will definitely plan another stay at... More

This lovely place blends hospitality, history and haute cuisine effortlessly. Nathalie's food was superb, and Clement was the consummate host. Restoring the property was a true labor of love. The location was great; we walked everywhere. Highly recommended!

Perfect is the way to describe our visit. We had friends from Newfoundland stay with us. They also found the visit was perfect. This was on of the cleanest and unique BB we have ever stayed in. It sits above a real cool grocery store....made many visits. We were greeted in a very kind and genuine way. Clement gave us... More

My husband stayed at the Auberge J.A. Moisan in December 2012. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our weekend at this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The BnB is located on Rue St. Jean above the General Store. You climb a steep set of stairs and enter to a beautiful Victorian parlour. I spent a lovely afternoon reading a book... More

When I read the reviews of JA Moisan, I thought "how can a place have that many 5 circle ratings?" It deserves every one of them. Clement is simply an outstanding host. Hardworking, charming, accommodating. He alos gave help with shopping, activities and food. And Nathalie preparations for the breakfast are fabulous. One morning more incredible than the next. It... Cant say enough good things about the two who run this place. I forget the husbands name and am sorry but the wife is Natalie. First off they sat down with me and explained in English the history of the city, and took out map and showed me where to go. It really made me feel comfortable on walking around... More

During our last two trips to QC we stayed here and at the Chateau Frontenac. We had the most exceptional breakfasts and a great location at this B&B above the oldest continuously operating grocery store in North America (really a wonderful small grocery boutique). We had the smallest room they offer but it was clean and functional. At $150 a... More

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the owner, Clement, we knew this was going to be one of our best weekend trips ever. Besides being the proprietor, Clement has an extensive knowledge on the history of Quebec, as he guided us from our first steps into his home. Staying at Auberge J.A. Moisan is like staying in... I will be travelling to Quebec City next year. I had hoped to stay at Auberge J.A. Moisan. Over the last month, however, I have left three phone messages and two e-mails (per the contact information on their website) and have received no responses. I have stayed at numerous B&B's around the world and I have found that proprietors have... More
