My fiancee and I had the chance to stay here for three nights during March and it was absolutely stunning. The location itself is gorgeous and secluded giving you an incredible view of the Yukon countryside. You also get the benefit of watching the lights from the comfort of your own home! I also can't say enough about the hosts... More

After reading all the glowing reviews of the Takhini River Lodge, my friend and I made our reservations at the Lodge almost a year ago. Finally the day came for our trip in March 2013. Happily we found that all the rave reviews were true and not the least bit exaggerated. We too spent three wonderful nights at the Lodge,... More

Thank you so much for your wonderful review Carol. We hope that one day we will be able to visit California! The warmth and sun of California should be very nice to experience for a Yukoner, especially if it is in the winter time! Kinds regards Jean-Marc & Christiane. More

We had such a relaxing time at Takhini Lodge. We felt so lucky to be able to enjoy the beauty of the lodge and the lands around. Furnished with an artist's eye, the entire lodge was a visual delight. We can't say enough about our hosts. Christiane's cooking in her open kitchen was fantastic and Jean-Marc helped us in every... More

Dear Joan and Mel, Thanks so much for your review. Christiane and I enjoyed so much the French Cheese you brought for us from Vancouver that was fabulous to have a dinner with you around French cheese and French wine. It was so interesting to discuss about art, history and culture with you and Mel. Mel knowledge about Kilim impressed... More

We stayed at the Takhini River Lodge for 4 nights in early February 2013. We were hoping to see the Northern Lights from the Lodge and we did which was thrilling and never to be forgotten! But even more, we will always remember how delightful the whole experience at Takhini was for us both. It is listed as a B&B... More

It’s a long way from Australia to Whitehorse, but it was worth it. Seeing the Northern Lights was a bucket list item, but unfortunately for us, the light gods weren't cooperating. We had a little man transfer us from the airport to the lodge. I really didn’t want to start practicing driving on the other side of the road when... More

Thanks Graham for your wonderful review. I don't know if I was a chef in my previous life as you mentioned it but my "cuisine" is an art of chemistry that reminds me my previous profession in France. I used to be a pharmacist. Cooking is just another kind of chemistry mixing spices, flavours, tastes, colours, odours... Chiristiane More

We had a great Yukon experience and the Lodge played a huge part in making it so. Christiane and Jean-Marc, together with their helper Maiko, made our stay there to be a memorable one with their warm hospitality as well as really delicious food every evening. It was worth it to be there for the meals alone, but so much... More

The owners warm hospitality, clean good taste interiors, light full grand views welcome the guest and immediately feel like home. The meals prepared by the owner are excellent. The all activities are well coordinated. This is the place the guests would like to come back very soon!

My recent 6-night stay at the Takhini River Lodge fulfilled a lifelong dream - to see the Northern Lights - but because of Christiane and Jean-Marc, the owners of Takhini River Lodge, the trip meant so much more!
