I'd like to give this hotel a higher rating because of the friendly, helpful staff, however.......the hotel is unable to provide a sufficient supply of hot water during peak times in the morning, so I was treated to lukewarm/cold showers. Every time I asked I was given a different excuse. The problem is well known, and others in the hotel... More

You can only expect so much in Whitehorse, its a rustic town with its own charm. I stayed in this hotel twice. It is old, but well kept. The lounge is comfortable to sit and relax with a glass of wine (albeit the wine selection horrible). I felt safe and the place is clean. You can't really ask for more... More

We stayed twice at this hotel going to and from Alaska on a road trip. The second stay was only because there was no open alternative. The room was tired, poorly furnished and it's employees reflected the shape of the property, probably due to the fact that there is a "for sale" sign in front of the property.. The hotel... More

When your in the middle of nowhere, expect to pay a lot for less. We for most all hotels above the lower 48 have no a/c. Yes it's cooler but I need air, to get fresh... Open a window and hear noise. Most usually have a fan as this room did. Was just a stop over so only stayed one... More

The first Westmark hotel to our expectations. We had a spacious room and were little affected by noise in and around the hotel More

We opened the door to the stinkiest hotel room I have experienced. I don't quite know how to describe it; an amalgamation of years of old smoke, grime, body odor, and chemicals, maybe. We immediately opened the window and left for several hours to let it air out. The room was not clean; for instance, the TV had months of... More

The walls were paper thin and the decor dark. Clean but unimpressive. Very average meals in their restaurant and highly priced for what they were. Tiny bathroom. King size bed was comfortable. No wireless in the room but a small room set aside with 2 computers down the hallway on the ground floor. Handy to the superstore for groceries etc.... More

On our return trip to whitehorse we stayed here. Our first time to whitehorse a couple of days prior we stayed closer to the heart of downtown which was great when we had no car, but this was a nicer hotel on the inside, but more by the shopping area and downtown was quite a walk to cab ride. very... As per a previous review, we also stayed in this hotel on the first night of a Holland America land tour out of Skagway, Alaska. No choice, since it was part of our HA tour package. We also thought the restaurant a little expensive, so for dinner that night we went up the road to the Boston Pizza. Just a... More

Comfortable beds! Large rooms. Hall carpet was a little tired but rooms were nice. WIFI in rooms (get password from desk). Friendly staff. Part of a HAL Cruise/Tour so no idea on cost. Windows could be opened but it might be a bit loud as close to the main drag. Didn't hear anything with the windows closed. We slept better... More
