It is hard to find anything negative to write about this hotel. A friendly welcome, a clean, comfortable modern room and ideally situated to visit the small villages and coastal towns. I look forward to visiting this hotel again.

Stayed here to attend a family party nearby. Excellent base to explore Devon/Dorset borders. Good breakfast and clean rooms. Right in the centre of the village in easy walking distance of the tramway and the scenic river Coly.

We were welcomed warmly and invited to choose our room from those available. It was difficult to choose as they were all so good. The breakfasts were excellent, with freshly prepared fruit available as well as cereals and a choice of cooked food. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We liked the stay in this hotel with "only" seven rooms even though a kingsize bed would have better fitted our needs:). But it was our fault not having ordered this kind of bed. There is nothing else to complain about. We can recommend Swallows Eaves Hotel without any objection.
