Great Hotel, Staff were attentive from the moment we stepped through the door. Great bedroom with a fantastic shower. Breakfast was ok and I had to wait 15 mins for it to arrive. Parking is a problem but the car park only Two minutes away charges just £1.80 for 24hrs.

We found this place by chance and were not disappointed. The restaurant area is comfortable with good décor. The staff were attentive and the menu was interesting and well priced. The food arrived fairly swiftly and the portions and presentation were excellent.

We've been to The Globe before it became a St Austell pub & since and it has been good. However today the Tribute tasted off, the area we sat in smelt very strange - possibly due to scented wood on the fire? - and the food choices were unappealing. A very poor & disappointing experience. We won't be back.
