Kristine and Santiago have created a beautiful oasis where they and their staff were unfailingly helpful and welcoming. The gardens are lovely and the accomdation is clean and comfortable. It is clear that a lot of love and thought has gone into the creation of The Flycatcher and we thoroughly enjoyed our three nights there. We have only one small... More

In our travels we stay almost exclusively at B & B's so we have certain expectations. This one exceeded them all. Kristine, Santiago and sweet Rosa have all the right touches (as all the previous comments attest). I would add that their complete dedication to your enjoyment of their home and the surrounds is unparalleled. It's clear they want you... More

We enjoyed our stay here so much. We felt so welcome, and happy to be surrounded by such lush beauty. Santiago, the owner, is one of the kindest people I've ever met, as is his wife Kristina. We really enjoyed our conversation, and our stay here was one of the highlights of our time in the Yucatan. We visited Uxmal,... More

When you want to visit Uxmal, Labna, Sayil and Kabah, this is the best place to accommodate. Very lovely, peaceful and unique place in the middle of tropical garden. Clean and cosy rooms in small bungalows are situated in the garden under the tropical trees. Great breakfast on the terrace, fresh orange juice and very tasty local food. Very helpful... More

We stayed two nights in the Chel house while exploring the ruins in the area. The room was clean, comfortable and set in a lovely landscaped garden. All the facilities worked well enough, though the AC was a bit noisy (vibration) and the water pressure could have been stronger, but was still OK. The included breakfast was delicious, juice, coffee,... More

The week of February 19, 2013, my wife and I spent two wonderful nights at the Flycatcher Inn. It exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful experience. The setting, the buildings, the staff, the breakfasts, the story, the service--all were delightful. We are eager to return and "drink it in" again. Kristine and Santiago, the owners, are wonderful. They come... More

I do not want to repeat what has been said by lots of visitors in recent years: about rooms, breakfast, garden with birds, quietness, etc. It is all true! Fine. I would rather recommend future guests looking for famous ruins, haciendas, cenotes and all the touristic pack, just take one hour of their time walking to the village of Santa... More

Very large room and bathroom Quiet place only 10 minutes far from Uxmal site (also Kabah) Staff can recommend a lot of things (the cocoa plantation is a good one with local painted warriors for a ceremony, small but good restaurant in Santa Elena) Breakfast is good with fruits and omelet. We'll be back

We spent five magical days at Flycatcher. Months ago, when I was planning the trip via e-mail, I knew it was going to be something special. Kristine went out of her way to answer my many questions and offer suggestions for our itinerary. Our room was spacious and spotless, the birds and roosters calling us each morning, the delicious coffee... More

Actually, the bed was one of the more comfortable we've slept in when traveling in Mexico. Even if it hadn't been, the omelets, local honey for our toast, fruit, juice and hot coffee we had for breakfast will compell us to return. Kristine, Santiago and staff made us fell right at home and with their maps and information, encouraged us... More
