We splashed in one night after anchoring 300m off the coast in heavy swell, and having gone in the sea in the process of disembarking, all our stuff was wet with salt water, but they took us in gladly and even leant us clothes to have dinner in. Very assiduous and thoughtful staff. Beautiful dining room.

We attended a wedding here and was blown away with the quality of the hors d'oeuvres, delicious food and friendly waiters. The unique and plentiful appetizers were displayed and served on the huge balcony, overlooking the beautiful Tyrrhenian Sea, and the delicious dinner was served in the reception room. Wonderful hotel!

My wife and I took our children (3), their husbands (2), and our grandchildren (5) to visit the homeland of my mother's parents and accidentally came upon this hotel on the beach. We didn't know what to expect but what we discovered was marvelous. Certainly not an American luxury hotel, but for us it was luxurious as to a place for family life abroad. For 8 days, we were part of a hotel, beach, and pool 'family.' We made several convenient car trips to Palermo and the beach city of Cefalu, and my Cangelosi-Trentecosta hometown of Marineo. We explored some of the mountain tops that offered scary rides up and down. (We recommend renting small, 4-wheel drive cars.) The fascinatingly friendly small city of St. Stefano was a few minutes away where there are many ceramics shops and factories to browse and wonderful restaurants to eat. We learned how to relax and enjoy life, as only Sicilians seem to do in this crazy world in which we live.

Top Hotel accommodation is good, clean rooms and Top dinner. Breakfast could be better, i.e. no eggsHotel has own swimming pool, however this is about 500 m from the Hotel, because there is a railway in between.

This was a great choice for our family vacation. We all felt comfortable and secure there for the 7 days that we were there. The breakfast which came with our reservation was lovely - a good selection of food and drink. We had our table waiting for us each day and the staff anticipated our coffee needs by the 3rd day. My grandchildren 5 of them, ranging in age from 10 to 20, enjoyed the pool and the beach and the chance to borrow water floats and buy a snack close to where they were playing. .

On first appearance outside the hotel looks lovely, when we went to reception a lady in ' holiday' style clothes behind desk, nobody speaks English hardly, room was acceptable until we looked at our balcony, this had never been cleaned and was full of bird droppings, no way could you sit outside, once we mentioned this it was then cleaned (surely this should be on cleaning list !!) . Little bug bear nobody wore uniform, staff wore same things day in day out and looked scruffy. I am diabetic so need diet drinks, no coke slimline tonic etc so water it was with meals !! On photos looks lovely beach reality rocks and couldnt go in sea as strong waves/current. Pool-good job we had car, on asking where it was in broken english said along this road, over railway line then down very long slopey road, couldnt have walked as sooo hot. I felt the people who ran/worked at the hotel had just taken it over and had no idea whats so ever on how to run a hotel, had to wait ages for everything and didnt say thankyou or goodbye after we paid, will not return or advise others to

The value for money you get here is hard to beat. Excellent food (if its not on the menu ask and they will arrange) with a great choice of dish's, very clean and rooms cleaned and beds and towels changed every day. Breakfast is buffet style with a varied choice. The pool and private beach is not connected to the hotel, it is a short walk over a railway bridge about 250mts, the pool is very clean and towels are provided free of charge, plenty of beds available at the pool.

Great hotel for those who want peace and quiet. On the beach always maximum 1-2 people, excellent rooms with sea view. Salvatore, the hotel owner is very friendly, helps with any difficulties! One point - the hotel is in a secluded spot, and nearby there is only a small shop and nothing else. BUT! Salvatore was very kind to us and picked us up to a nearby town in his own car, if we asked. It is best to have a rest in this hotel, if you have rented a car. Thanks Salvatore and his lovely wife for the warm welcome!

All the staff in the restaurant did not speak English at all. During breakfast, the staff serves only Italians and pointedly ignores the foreigners. We had to wait about 10 minutes that someone comes to replace the tablecloth to a clean one, as there were no clean tables any more. But no one came to us. Waiters have seen that we have come, but ignored us. At the same time the waiters immediately served the Italians and asked what they want to drink. I had to go and call the waiter by myself and ask him to give us a new tablecloth and coffee. He didn't understand me at all, so luckily I knew a few Italian words and explained him with jestures what we want. On the day of checkout there was no one at the reception. After 5 minutes of waiting, someone came and instead of greeting glanced irritably at me and asked: "checkout?". After payment, he did not say goodbye, but just silently went away to make a coffee the Italian man who came up. And they call it service.. Internet connection is very slow. The hotel is situated about 3 km from the town, but the walk is almost impossible, because there is a pedestrian road. It is necessary to have a car to get to town. There is only 1 kiosk with food next to the hotel, nothing more. Directly in front of the window of the room pass the railroad tracks. The train passes by with a roar, and sometimes even signals. On the official photograph shows the beach with sand, but do not believe this photos. In fact, the beach is full of large stones, which are very difficult to walk. On the last night (from 11 to 12 August) there was a loud party at the hotel, so that it was impossible to sleep. The party continued until 1 pm. I think that it is unacceptable when there are also other guests in the hotel. We had to get up at 7 am to go to the airport. Instead of sleeping, we had to dress up and at 12:30 we went down to find out when the party is over. We were told at 1 o'clock. At one music really stopped ... + The room was clean. The lady at the reception was very nice and was the only person who spoke English. Thanks for showing us the hotel!

The hotel is clean and spacious. Rooms are of a good size and most have a sea view. Food in a restaurant is good but expensive. The pool is great but quite cold. Beach is very poor, with big stones. Sea ws very rough when we were there so we mostly used the pool. The main disadvantage of the hotel is that it is in the middle of nowhere, you have to drive to nearest town and restaurants. There was a small shop near the hotel for water, fruit and so on. Overall nice. Passing train was not a problem
