I went with a friend with the aim of visiting the some of the Normandy WW2 beaches and other places of interest. Internet find so we took a chance. Wished we had not bothered. Place is tired and in need of a lick of paint. Room was not clean. Food was great, waitress was good, manger was rude akin to Basil Fawlty. Had the potential to be special and may have been in the past!

This inexpensive small "restaurant with rooms" is in beautiful and remote Normandy countryside not too far from Mont St. Michel. Lovely setting and warm welcome. Excellent food. Warm, comfortable room. Nice atmosphere and the tables set with fresh tablecloths and flowers every evening made it a special stay. We certainly hope to stay again soon.

Tucked away in the countryside the Hotel was peaceful, the surroundings were beautiful, and the reception warm and welcoming. Characterful room, but needed more in the bathroom, as it was de luxe. Superb dinners, but poor breakfasts. Very quiet, almost overslept. Garden allowed to become shabby.
