The Grace is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. We are trying to stay there when next in Johannesburg in November, and find that the hotel closed last year. I cannot find out why or if it will ever be re-opening! If anyone can enlighten me, I would be grateful. More

Excellent creature comforts. Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Loved the shower separate from the bath and heated towel rail. I felt pampered by all the 'extras' like the bed turn down service with hand made chocolate, and the guest lounge serving yummy scones & cake in the afternoons, with a waiter to serve beverages. The Grace in Rosebank is an old colonial style boutique hotel equipped with all modern comforts. The staff is friendly and the rooms are elegant. The bar area next to the reception is cozy. We arrived at 8:30 in the morning from an overnight international flight and were immediately shown to our rooms. Despite the early hour there was no problem with the check in, and we were offered juice and scones during the process. The staff was helpful throughout our stay. Rooms were comfortable and well furnished. More

While the accommodation was very comfortable I do think this hotel needs an update to its furnishings and interior design. We were there over a weekend and it was fairly deserted, so I had the sense this a more a businessperson's hotel choice rather than one for leisure travellers. More

Stayed here for one evening only. Sleep disrupted by some weird knocking sounds throughout the night. Needs a proper modern overhaul really. Staff friendly. Hotel right on the street so security may be dubious for international travelers. More
