Checked in after reading good reviews and hearing positive things from friends. Upon check in, I was informed that the restaurant is closed so breakfast is served at their sister resort, ten minutes walk away on the beach. I know this is covid times but really? 🙁
Concierge made a point of showing me the kettle but informing me there is no coffee in the room or minibar. If I want a coffee, it's free of charge but I have to ring the front desk. Isn't that a lot more work than just providing coffee in the room?
WiFi is spotty to the point of non existence.
There is no hot water in my room but they promised they are aware of the issue and working on it. I was excited to have a bath tub in the room but it was so dingy and dark in there and with no hot water I don't think it'll happen!
TV is old and the remote doesn't work properly.
If you are a light sleeper, request a room on the high floor otherwise you hear every step above you.
Hoping the rest of my stay is uneventful and the hot water returns!

We were so grateful when we landed at the Railay pier and saw our hotel was located just off it!
We were too early for our check in, but the concierge kindly allowed us to leave our baggage at reception, and offered us beach towels to take to the beach or to use at the rooftop pool.
We opted to go to Railay west beach which is a quick walk away, via the popular walking street, where all the restaurants, bars, shops and mini marts are situated.
Our rooms were spacious and had all the conveniences from toiletries, to tea and coffee making facilities, a bar fridge, as well as a balcony.
The only nuisance (which incidentally only occurred on our first day) were the monkeys who come onto the balcony in search of food.
The bathrooms could do with more ventilation, but the showers are powerful jets of hot water at all times.
Each room has a much-needed aircon, and a flat screen TV.
The included breakfast buffet in the mornings is a delightful and varied spread of Western and Thai cuisine.
The staff were always very friendly and helpful.
The rooftop pool has a lovely view of the limestone cliffs, and the pool water is at a perfect temperature.
There are sufficient places to relax, but it would’ve been nice to have a rooftop bar adjoining the pool.
We extended our stay by one night since we were very happy with our accommodation, and could organise a ferry and thereafter a taxi straight to the Phuket airport for our flight home.

We stayed in a privacy cottage close to the inland swimming pool. Sme of these are shaded, ask for a sunny courtyard and jacuzzi if you want one. We have visited before and the resort remains a good choice. Quiet and relaxing with big well appointed rooms. Bathrooms which are semi outside have rather smelly drains but we knew this and just ventilate it more. Buffet breakfast is good but we chose to eat outside hotel. Many options within a few minutes walk. Much less busy in middle of month than nearer New Year, daytrippers from Krabi ban overrun beach. Hotel and private transfers use pier, avoid shared boats if you don't want to walk across sand with suitcases.

We had booked and paid for this hotel in January (for April 2020) then Covid-19 happened. We called and they were flexible to reschedule our dates to July. Just spent a week there and didn’t want to leave! They had upgraded us from a deluxe to a superior room. 2 gorgeous swimming pools (infinity or nature based), generous breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the climbing in Railay is temporarily closed so we didn’t extend our stay to the second week (you can still climb on Tonsai, hike and abseil on Thaiwand wall). We are 2 adults and 2 children (75 baht each for breakfast) and sofa bed available for sleeping and they provided extra sheets pillows and blankets). Bathtub, shower, daily water refill. We loved the gated car park on Ao Nammao pier to Railay East and complimentary boat service at scheduled times. Overall, we will be back for sure! Thank you for your hospitality during this difficult time.

Where do I Start... The words Spa and Resort shouldn't be used in this hotel because there ist nothing Relaxing here. When we Arrived at the Hotel it wasn't really welcoming, and the path to the Reception is very narrow and it stunks. At the front desk a stuff member took care of our luggage even thought my girlfriend told him multiple times that she want to do it her self, but he wouldn't listen or didn't understand. As we entered the room the guy just walked around the room and did nothing and wouldn't leave until we gave him a tipp. (I worked at a hotel myself and this kind of beehavior is just unexpected especially when you krone yourself as a 3 to 4 star Resort). Big Big minus Point here. The room was equipped moderately, nothing spacial and for 40 € a night way way to overpriced. The body of water in front of our room stunks really bad and make the Balcony useless. The entire room was lit by only one light at the entrance. (Really Really bad and uncomfortable Light) The breakfast is a Class of it self for being not good!! As a Vegen your only option is to eat either water melons or pineapple. The coffee was bad and if you want a Latte or Cappuccino you have to pay extra even when you payed for breakfast. (I personally did not enjoy the breakfast, and we have to grab it somewhere else) The Property Promote it self as if they are on the beach but you can not swim at this side of the island. Due to a error at our next stay in Bangkok we had to take a Domestic Call, we kindly asked the Receptionist if we can use there phone for 5 minute, and they told us that we have to pay 15 Bhat Per Minute!! What ??? And the checkout, was normal it was quick but really not much, they did not even say anything like "Bye" its was just an "ok you can go now". hahaha The Island its self was ok there is just one small street where all the shops and restaurants are, some are good other are bad.

A functional, yet charmless, resort on Railay. The breakfast buffet features pre-fried eggs in a tray and some fairly disgusting hotdogs masquerading as sausage. The coffee exceeded expectations and was palatable. Rooms are functional with no effort made to lift them above modestly comfortable and easy to clean.

Good option for staying in Railay. This hotel is right beside the East Railay pier so very convenient for a pier to pier transfer with luggage. The rooms were very spacious with a large balcony and good storage. They were clean on arrival but they were not cleaned thoroughly during our stay- shower enclosure was not cleaned, there was a bad smell from the drain in the bathroom. The pools were nice and good areas for sunbathing. The bars and restaurants were close by

The room was very disappointing and uncomfortable. It looks nothing like the ones in the pictures.
The room was very (very!) dark - we had just one single 'cold' light at the entrance and a tiny 'office' lamp at the desk.
After a few complaints, bedside lamps were installed two days after.
In the website the rooms are warm, bright and modern - don't believe in that.
The bathroom was the worst part. Dark (again), a leaking sink and very poor shower.
The shower head was all clogged and we had no hot water for two days. After many complaints, we had lukewarm water with minimal water pressure. Despite a couple of emails and speaking to the front desk, nothing changed.
We were traveling with two kids and the shower time was really unpleasant.

The hotel overall is alright but the rooms need lots of love and care.

We are easy people and can let go many things but their passivity to face and solve problems was really annoying - from management to staff (I never had a response to my emails from management).

There are plenty of hotels in the area with similar price range and I would recommend to stay somewhere else.

It's a beautiful approach, coming in on a boat and the Railay Princess is quite literally just where you get off the boat.
Reception were very helpful and courteous. We were upgraded and the room was very nice. Ever so dark though as the outside was surrounded by trees.
Breakfast was nice with a variety to choose from.
We ate in their restaurant with a discount voucher on the second night and it was so delicious.
The pools were nice. The one out the back is dangerous though - I was chilling up against the side when I got sucked into one of the vents/filter holes which didn't have a cover on. It hurt a lot and shook me up so much I never got in that pool again. I dread to think what would happen if a child got their arm/leg/hair sucked in to it.

The property has been under renovation for a while, which was an inconvenience but really didn’t impact our stay except for breakfast (for which we had a 5-8 minute walk to another hotel).

The first room we were given smelled of mold as it had not been rented for a while (and hence there had been no air circulation). The odor was such it cut our breath and we couldn’t stay in it. To the property’s credit, they did find another room on an upper floor.

The second room was much better, had a balcony vs a patio, and most importantly did NOT SMELL!

Overall, the price didn’t support the amenities available at the time of our visit. It may once all renovations and upgrades are complete, but based on our experience I would not recommend.

The ferry costs 750/800 Baht and takes 2 1/2 hours. You get into a long boat that takes you out to the ferry and it gets packed, so find a good place to sit down once you get on. It was a smooth ride. The hotel was great in helping me do whatever I wanted to do in the area and there was no additional cost to book the excursions through them. (all tour places offer all the same tours, just google what you'd like to see & they can get it for you or find a way to take you there). Hotel also has GREAT Thai massages!

I had breakfast included in my room deal. That said the food was good. It was convenient to not have to walk any further to find food and coffee in the morning.

Hi, all 3 beaches are in very easy walking distance and the walk is on the level. you could easily walk to any beach within 10 minutes. The sea is beautiful as are the beaches and very clean and safe. Do be mindful that you can only get there by longboat or speed boat and disembarking will be quite hazardous for the elderly. so maybe you should bear this in mind. hope this helps Darren
