The downfall was having to purchase a drink at dinner from the bar, as there was no visible drinks available. The room was comfortable and afforded a good nights sleep, even though it was facing a busy road. Overall... More

I have stayed here multiple times over the last 6 months. The staff are always pleasant and the rooms are always clean. The family sized room is wonderful with tons of space- two bed + a sofa bed. Occasionally there have been problems with the shower temperature (once no matter what setting it was scolding) but someone came to fix... More

The evening was spoilt by the manager banging our door down and accusing us off smoking, which after the lady checked the detecter realised a mistake had been made I do not smoke, the male stayed outside as i was undressed getting... I stayed in the hotel just for one night. I didn't eat at the hotel or use the facilities so can only comment on the room. I thought for the price we payed, the room was very dated with poor shower facilities and no hot water. If I needed a basic room for the night with no available hotels in... More

First time I have visited this hotel, I travelled up from london to stay. Its not the cheapest in the area but well worth it. Good food, good atmosphere, pleasant staff and a decent pint! More
