myl family and i have visited this motel restaurant on several occasions including christmas day lunch and have found it wonderful value for money, food excellent with good choices, served from their carvery except christmas day which was brought to the table. lovely staff always willling to oblige and lovely atmosphere well worth the money will continue to visit .

I stayed at the Yorkway last year,you could not wish to meet a nicer couple than mangers Julia and Michael. I stayed at the Yorkway for a number of weeks whilst working in Pocklington. A great place to stay,good food and even better company. Alan Smith.

I had a similar experience re heating and hot water,but following discussions with the manager I received a refund and sincere appologies. This was clearly a one off which was soon rectified. The staff are generally helpful and the motel represents good value.

Nice hotel close to York, rooms are basic but comfortable, free parking, free wifi, hosts are very friendly and always on hand if needed.. Food is good and reasonably priced. York is approx 20 minutes by car, hull is approx 40 minutes.

We have had Sunday Lunch quite a lot of times over recent years, and have always found it good quality and value. There is always a choice of meats, and several vegetables cooked to the right level. The heading says it all, but the young girl on reception was unable to organise the boiler repair and consequently all the guests suffered.
