I can't think of anything we DIDN'T like - and if you read my reviews you will know how rare that is :-) You will need to enjoy being 'away from it all' and if the weather is inclement (we were there at the end of December) it can be spectacularly beautiful and raw. The apartment is perfect and we... More

We spent 2 nights at Greenbank farm & enjoyed every minute, Sally & Simon made us very welcome, we had the "Granny Flat " which was warm, comfortable & had everything we needed. You do need a car as it is way out in the countryside but well worth a visit.Waking up to rabbits & pheasants in the field was amazing... Three stayed on Thursday 18th October 2012. Great feedback from our three operatives who stayed here overnight at Greenbank whilst working nearby. Great value for money including a hearty breakfast! Our chaps had a very good night’s sleep and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful location. Sally was very helpful and payment was simple and easy. We would definitely recommend... More

We stayed here at the end of September for one night with my daughter who was going to lancaster University. Simon and Sally who ran the place were very friendly and helpful. There were some lovely views from the back of the house and we really enjoyed our stay there. We would be happy to stay there again while our... More

As a former resident of the area I know the place well. Staying there is always a great option when visiting this beautiful part of the world. Sally and Simon have built a great b&b. Worth making a little detour for the views alone.

Stayed here one night en route to the Lake District. Lovely room, comfortable bed, will certainly stay again if going that way.

This was our second visit to Greenbank Farm, and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Lancashire now. A warm welcome, lovely rooms, comfortable beds and glorious views. What more could you want? And the breakfast is always delicious!

Spent the night here whilst visiting Lancaster University with our daughter, so had two rooms. Both very nicely decorated with no fussy extras like unnecessary cushions on the bed, but enough ornaments to make them cosy. Thoughtful additions we appreciated were binoculars in the room overlooking the fells, biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities, and tumblers, wine glasses and... More
