We had the most lovely night's stay in this hotel. The staff are so very helpful - one even gave my in-laws a lift home at the end of the night! The room was beautifully furnished, bed very comfortable, overlooking the river. Very peaceful. Staff brought us a pot of tea on arrival rather than let us make our own... More

This was our second time staying at this Golden Nugget. The rooms are amazing. Great selection of fine ales in the bar..the Resteraunt has a good choice and served to perfection..all the staff are brilliant. Nothing too much trouble for them. Highly recommend this Hotel which is in a lovely quiet village.

This was our second visit to this outstanding pub. It has been extended since our last visit (which must have been a couple of years ago) Excellent menu, friendly staff. We visited on a lunchtime & the choice of food was good. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

WOW!!! My husband and i have just come home now from 4 day holiday at The Cartford Inn and we want to go back!!!!!! A beautiful inn, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, exquisite food (steak & ale pie......DELICIOUS) with great entertainment (on friday nights). We would highly recommend The Cartford Inn to all our friends and families.
