Recently stayed here for a wedding.
Valerie & all the rest of the staff couldn't have been anymore helpful. Valerie made a point of wanting to know our names & we were only wedding guests!!!
Everything ran so smoothly.
Food was excellent, with a fantastic big ulster breakfast in the morning with as much or as little as you wanted,...

My wife and I stayed in Ardtara last night for the first time. The title should say it all.
Upon arrival we were met by Valerie who showed us into the hotel. The building is beautiful in lovely grounds. Inside the interior is traditional and lovely.
We were then showed to our room, big, clean and beautiful. The fire was...

We found the place slightly strange from the outset;beautiful surroundings, but when we tried to open the front door nothing happened until it was opened suddenly from...

We sincerely regret your dissatisfactions.
By way of explanation, the front door only opens when the doorbell is used to call us (a standard security practice) and we can only address complaints if brought to our attention at the time. Since you made no comments at the time, we had hoped you enjoyed your stay.
Happily, we receive few complaints...

We stayed at Ardtara last year with a small group that we were taking around Ireland. We liked it so much that we can't wait to come back this year! The house sits in 8 acres of its own grounds which provides a beautiful and relaxing setting to unwind and enjoy. The house itself is beautiful and very nicely furnished...
