The craven arms was perfect for our weekend stay. It's location is ideal for doing the 3 peaks walk - approx 15 mins away from Horton-in-ribblesdale. The staff made you feel so welcome from the minute you arrive to the moment you leave. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was exceptionally good and would definitely recommend eating in the... Have just returned from a one night stay on the Groupon offer. Second time we have visited and could not fault it. Rooms spotless and comfortable. Food delicious. Welcome and hospitality given by Deb and her staff made it for us. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended for tasty fresh cooked food with friendly service. I particularly liked the options of small portions for those with a smaller appetite which allowed me to enjoy 3courses rather than just one main meal. The wild rabbit, Yorkshire chorizo and puy lentils was really different and tasty.

Stayed on a 'Groupon' deal which was unbelievably amazing value. Mr Proctor the proprietor was extremely friendly, ameniable and flexible with regard to booking dates. Spacious room, fresh milk available from communal fridge for a brew in the room, Harrogate mineral water, Yorkshire biscuits and nice toiletries. No baths available but perfectly adequate shower in small bathroom. Cracking breakfast with... More

We spent a night here using a Groupon voucher. On the strength of the Trip Advisor reviews we ate in the restaurant. There is really nothing we can add except to endorse previous reviews in terms of the excellent standard of accommodation, service and food. The owners are obviously trying hard and deserve to do well.

We had dinner here with a group of nine seven adults two children on very busy bank holiday weekend. Warm welcome from the staff great food, most from the owners farm and great value for money. We had a great night great service and a lift home from the manager for some of our party who had a long walk... More

Comfortable and enjoyable 2-night stay. Hotel food, both at breakfast and evening meal, was of a very good standard. Staff were helpful and friendly and provided a good level of service. This hotel/pub aims to appeal to a range of customers – walkers, locals, diners, functions – and generally succeeds. Good base from which to go walking in the Yorkshire... More

Fantastic lunch today. 9 of us from aged 4 to 72. Everyone had a clear plate. The food is brilliant, the service even better. If there is a better "Trio of Pork" out there, I ain't had it. The Black Pudding Scotch Egg looked brilliant too

Very good value at Groupon price. Service was excellent. Had an enjoyable dinner. Only complaint was the room which was ground floor at back. Just niggly things with the room. No bedside table or lamp on one side of bed so unable to read in bed on that side. Lack of other places to put things on in room or... More
