This place was awesome. The rooms were lovely, not what I thought I was going to get for the price. Emile was the best host I've ever had, so helpful. Helped us book tours and gave us great advice. There's a bar which is a great place to meet people.

Caleta Iguana (Casa Rosada) is located in Puerto Villamil- Isabela, the most beautiful island in the Galapagos. Caleta Iguana is an icon in Galapagos with an amazing vibe and unique energy, full of life. It is the last house on the beach in the best location possible with the most amazing views and sunsets, just inches from the ocean and 3 minutes away from the town shops and restaurants (walking). There are many social areas, one with an LCD television, lounge, and a large collection of DVD´s, a book exchange library, and board games. In the restaurant area we offer a delicious breakfast and dinners every day as well as coffee, take away lunch (box lunch) and snacks. In the reception area we can book your tours, inform you about the island´s history and its activities, rent beach games, parasol´s (sunshades), surfboards, boogie boards, bikes, and more. Outside, towards the beach we have a terrace with a Grill and BBQ area with tables, chairs, hammocks in the mangrove trees and the ocean just a few feet away! You will be able to observe hundreds of Marine Iguanas that chose Caleta Iguana as their refuge. You will see many guides with groups taking pictures of all the iguanas we have living here, including “Tyson” one of the biggest and oldest around… On the second floor you will find a huge sun-deck with hammocks and reclining chairs. From here you can enjoy some of the best views of long white sand beach and unforgettable sunsets. This is the best place to enjoy the wonderful views, sunsets and Galapagos wildlife.
