We visited the Catash for a birthday party. What a friendly bunch the locals are! We had a lovely evening and found the staff really warm and welcoming too. Also loved the skittle alley round the back. We didn't stay overnight so can't comment on the accomodation.

This has to be the worst village pub in the whole of Somerset. What brewery could be responsible for a pub run like this. Smells like an unemptied ashtray, has no atmosphere, and rarely has any beer. Sadly I live in this village and use every pub in the surrounding villages rather than go into my own local, how sad.

Landlord very friendly. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast lovely and well cooked. Downside, quite steep stairs to bedrooms. Room not ready when we arrived but quickly sorted. TV not working but offered one to watch in bar if wanted. Did smell of cats.

We had a wonderful stay last August. Excellent location, food was wonderful, the owner was very helpful and lovely. I can't rate this high enough. Location just off the A303 was perfect.
