What a fantastic property! It has to be the most beautiful hacienda in Latin America . Impeccably maintained, with top notch service, in a beautiful setting near an active volcano. Almost everything is locally grown or raised.

Hacienda de San Antonio is one of the most amazing places I've ever visited. The Hacienda is a beautiful, old plantation house that has been lovingly restored and preserved by Alix and Goffredo Marcaccini. Coming here, you are transported back to an earlier time. The rooms are elegant and wonderful. The food and service are divine. The pool is the... More

I had the most wonderful time at this spectacular hacienda!! Everything one could possibly ask for in terms of luxury, comfort, outdoors, attentiveness of staff and quality of the food. I went with several friends for a weekend and we all had a marvelous couple of days, also enjoying a fashion show event by Pineda Covalin which took place one... More

My wife and I just returned from two nights at what is considered by relevant connoisseurs to be the most beautiful hacienda in the Americas-Hacienda de San Antonio. What impressed us most though was the authentic commitment to aesthetic awareness, healthfulness and caring relationships. We felt these commitments at every turn, whether we swam in the chlorine-free Olympic-sized pool; dined... More

Last summer, after a couple of weeks on the coast in Mexico, I was looking for a cool retreat from the tropical August heat, and ventured inlands to find a magnificent estate of historical value at the foot of a volcano, the Hacienda de San Antonio. Luxurious designed gardens, wonderfully spacious rooms, delightful service and cuisine, beautiful horses from the... More

It is hard to find words that convey the stunning beauty and secluded intimacy that you experience at the Hacienda de San Antonio. The setting is magical at the foot of 3 volcanoes and the views from the pool have to be the most stunning i have ever seen. The hotel is beautiful. A reformed traditional hacienda furnished in the... More

We reserved a Romantic Get Away package and got exactly that. A superb room, privacy and fantastic service. Part of the package included a picnic in a mountain meadow - don't miss it - this a truly unique and wonderful experience. What you get is driven to and from an elegant picnic set up under a couple of trees smothered... More

If you like quiet, relaxing, luxurious countryside holidays (and if money is no object) then here is the perfect place. For years it was the actual residence of British billionaire financier James Goldsmith, and it shows. The manicuring of the grounds and buildings is impeccable, as is the service. It compares favorably with the best boutique hotels of Asia and... More
