We stayed for a night earlier this month and loved it. Really clean and quiet with an excellent breakfast. Sally and Martin couldn't have been nicer. The pub down the road is also good, and within walking distance.

Stayed here overnight for a wedding and thought that the accomodation was lovely, very peaceful and very suited to our needs. We stayed in the Garden Cottage which was comfortable and we both slept very well. Sally and Martin were just lovely, helpful and very friendly, both made us feel very welcome! The food was good and just what we... More

I stayed here with my sister for one night, only a flying visit but long enough to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings and have a great sleep in the super comfy bed! We almost missed out on breakfast as I wasn't sure whether it was included and we were on our way out when the lady of the house,... More

We spent two nights at this lovely bed and breakfast. We had a comfortable and spacious room inside the beautiful house, not in the cottage. Sally and Martin were helpful and friendly and we felt most welcome. Just our sort of cooked breakfast too with good quality food on offer. We thought we knew the area but found walks and... More

We had two special days in Lodge Lawn Cottage. Our cottage was pretty, clean and very comfortable. We loved the garden even in winter, in spring and summer it must be delightful. We enjoyed watching the wild life across the meadows to the river, especially the Kites soaring in the sky. Fotheringhay church was fascinating with loads of information on... More

Lovely bed and breakfast in a lovely English village. Hosts were super kind and cooked us a delicious breakfast. Great pub down the road too. Room very comfortable. 100% recommended for a weekend away in the countryside.

We stayed at Lodge Lawn for our first night after our wonderful wedding and it was the perfect start to our marriage. The cottage was quaint and very English country cottage like, I loved all the beautiful fabrics used to make the cottage unique. The proprieter had even hung a congratulation sign for us which was a sweet gesture. Breakfast... More

for the independent couple needing a very comfortable, tastefully done, immaculate accommodation. We most enjoyed our continental breakfast sitting in the garden in the peace and quiet of a beautiful village

We spent the month of May in England, staying in five different B&B's in different parts of the country. All of them were in the price range of Lodge Lawn Cottage (£70-80 per night). Compared to the others, the room here was tiny -- there was no place to lay out our clothes, the bed was small, moving about was... More

I was disappointed Steve did not come and discuss his problems with me so I could try to help him out. I could have offered to cook breakfast for him and his wife. I try to consider all our guests individual needs. Steve had access to our computor facilities, for example, to book his boarding passes and weighed his many... More
