The hotel looks a bit shabby from the outside. The staff were friendly. The car park, like most Premier Travel Inn's was noisy first thing in the morning. The room looked like it had recently been refurbished and was clean and tidy. Would stay at the hotel again if I was in the area. More

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a family room with a proper single bed for our son, not a foam pull out sofa like a lot of hotels. Room very well furnished with nice big flat screen TV, room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Will definately use again. More

We opted for this hotel as it was very close to the client we were visiting. The shower didn't work, informed reception who said they would sort it. Checked the next morning still not working. Walls like cardboard, could here someone snoring nextdoor and couldn't sleep. Had our lunch on arrival in the restaurant which was very overcooked and the... More

Recently refurbished so very clean. Lisa on reception was very friendly & welcoming, and went out of her way to help when we encountered a problem with the tv in our room. Brewers Fayre next door very handy for evening meal etc again with good service & friendly staff & food of a good standard at very reasonable prices. More

Very little to say as everything was very good. Room standard excellent, a perfectly sized TV, instant Wi-Fi contact, secure locks on doors, good position, loads of parking (although the parking space was too narrow even for my small car - widen the spaces and you'll still have ample parking left over). My only criticism really was no heating in... More

Large car park, friendly and efficient reception staff. Nice clean, quiet room with BIG TV and WiFi. Excellent food. All staff friendly and efficient. This hotel may be part of a 'budget chain' but the quality and service put many more expensive hotel chains to shame. A totally first class stay all round More

Stayed here on 13th April 2012 to break up journey northwards to Aviemore as live in Cheshire and have a toddler. Have always found Premier Inns great value for money and family friendly, however, think as this hotel is undergoing refurbishments standards slipped. Check in was smooth and was pleased with the room although a little smaller than other family... More
