We visited Manukan Island to unwind after our trek in Mt KK and really like the almost-private resort near evening time. Amazing sunset. Snorkelling was not too bad especially at a very affordable rate. Our villa was located quite far away from the reception area but that was fine. We were greeted hospitably upon arrival, handed welcome drinks and souvenirs... More

We stayed for a couple of days to unwind after 2 weeks in the jungle. We had beachside villa no. 7, which was spotlessly clean and with no trace of any smell as mentioned by the previous reviewer. The villa consists of a large downstairs lounge with sofa and chairs, dining table and fridge, with a large shower room at... More

When I booked this hotel through it's own website, it actually derived to an agency, that's the reason they charge a deposite. Stayed at the beach side Villa No 7 for one night. All rooms has horrible smell, I strongly against asthma suffers come; big foot print on the duvet cover, table has a big nail pops out. The most... More

We were at the Island last month and staying at Hill Side Villa No; 11. It was my 1st anniversary and my husband decided we celebrate at Manukan Island. During arrival the front office staffs were there waiting for us and I’m impress with the service Welcome Drinks so nice and refreshing, the cold towel smell really good and the... More

I stayed at Manukan Island Resort in a two bedroom, single story cottage, with three other friends for two nights in January. The whole experience was excellent and exactly what we hoped for. The rate included round trip transfer via the Sea Quest tour company but the day we were meant to travel, it was on and off torrential rain... More

We were on a 3D2N package in Manukan Island. Ours was a beach-front chalet. Service was great. At the reception, apart from the welcome drink, i received a beaded necklace and my husband got a beaded bracelet. We arrived at 1pm and got to checked in on the spot instead of having to wait till 2pm. Meals were included in... More

We stayed here for one night whilst on a sea kayaking trip with Seven Skies (an Australian luxury adventure company). We had a a cabin close to the main reception area, which consisted of a living room, a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with twin beds. It was all fairly comfortable although a little tatty in places,... More

If you love nature and like to rough it out, the resort is for you. I like the island-style accommodation setting - wooden structures and beautiful surrounding landscaping. But that's about it - now go out and enjoy the island! Nothing much one can do after sunset, so I hope they can include some recreational activities (pool, board games, etc),... More
