My husband and I have just experienced a great relaxing break on this wonderful farm. Everywhere was spotless, the food was excellent and Ceinwen was a great hostess. It was so peaceful and relaxing just to sit and listen to the surrounding birdlife whilst there were also many walks to explore. It was a pleasure to listen to Geoffs stories... More

What can I say? This B&B is absolutely amazing. Came here as a group of 7 ladies celebrating having been together as a walking group for 20 years. This is the best B&B I have every stayed in. Made to feel welcome upon arrival complete with tea and home made cakes. Fantastic host and superb breakfast. Top Class all the... More

This lovely farmhouse B & B is run really well by Mrs Ceinwen Nixon & her husband. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable and very tastefully decorated (recently) and the sitting room too. It is all warm and cosy and set in glorious countryside. The Nixons gave us a wonderful welcome and delicious tea with homemade cakes in the afternoon and... More

Our first stay but will not be our last. Ceinwen could not have made us more welcome on an appalling day with tea and cake. Our room with sitting area was comfortable, warm, spotless and peaceful. TV reception not too good sometimes due to weather. The House and food was fantastic, home cooking beautifully presented. About one mile from mainroad... More

We have just returned from a week long stay at Brynhir farm, staying with the Nixon family, and cannot praise them enough. The weather was not good, but everything else was super. Ceinwen is a great cook and the family made their home ours for the stay. It is a lovely central location to explore from and the accomodation was... More

Stayed for 2 nights in October 2011 and found this B&B a very enjoyable place to stay. Driving through tree lined lanes to reach this beautiful farmhouse set the mood for our stay. Friendly Nixon family delivered on great breakfasts - spotless rooms -helpful advice. Highly recommend. Jan & John F AUSTRALIA

A farmhouse full of character in a beautiful pastoral setting,Brynhir farm with it;s warm and welcoming hostess was a great base for touring mid Wales. The triple room was spacious, airy and spotless ,the lounge was luxurious and the breakfast delicious and ample. This was everything one dreams of in a bed and breakfast ,a fantastic alternative to a more impersonal hotel.

We stayed for three nights and were well looked after. There are two lounges for guest's use, and an extremely nice small dining room where breakfast and evening meals are served. Our bedroom was well furnished and although the en-suite was small (shower and toilet only, the washbasin was in the bedroom) it was perfectly adequate. We ate in two... More

We spent 3 nights bed and breakfast here; it's off the main road up a narrow lane. The farmhouse is lovely - nice loung to sit in, should you wish. Bedroom nicely done out and bed very comfortable. The breakfasts were really nice and the service very friendly. My husband had a lovely chat with the farmer about sheep farming... More
