I absolutely loved this lodge. I stayed here twice with my daughter and her husband and found it to be absolutely lovely! The views were beautiful the Three Sister Mountains were right outside our windows ---gorgeous! The grounds were well groomed and little wild bunnies ran loose all over the place. The service was very good, food was great, and... More

Friendly staff greeted us when we checked in.This was our first stay here. Our room was clean although small. There was an extra charge for underground parking and for internet. Continental breakfast was included with our stay.A gratuity for the breakfast was automatically added to our bill at checkout.Next time we would try a suite so we have more room. More

I have spent the past weekend with my friend at the Windtower in Canmore, AB. The price was right and we had a nice clean suite. Service was very friendly and accommodating. from the very start on Friday. I would recommend Windtower to all my friends - right price, excellent service and very friendly staff. Well done. First of all, expensive, stayed here last minute, every where else that was pet friendly was booked. Room was ok, nothing special. No a/c, very hot in room, hallway freezing. Very noisy, could hear every step taken above, and what time the neighbors alarm clock went off. There is a additional charge to park in their parking lot and Internet. For... More

This hotel charges $140 per night for the basic room and for that we get a very very small dingy room that looks very tired. No airconditioning in the rooms although there is in the hall. We were told to keep the door of our room open to the hall to let some air in. Extra charges for the internet... More

Awesome suite!!! Great to return to the hotel after a day's touring, nice to relax in the hot pool. Friendly and helpful staff at all levels. Stayed there last year and good to see the bigger televisions with dvd players in our suite. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back. More

Pros: This is a nice hotel with great potential. Nicely located (5 min walking distance from center of Canmore). Suites are nice with well equipped kitchen. Quiet. Comfortable beds Free internet Free parking in the street; otherwise, you pay; Cons: Too expensive; many similar hotels in the area are less expensive; Cleanliness is irregular; very young inexperimented staff; Service is... We have stayed at other places in the Bow Valley, AB and found many of them that claim to be "2 bedroom suites" are ridiculously small; however this place was perfect for our family of 5. We had a king bed in 1 room, 2 twins on the adjoining and a pull out couch in the living room next to... More

The room was so dusty that my company sneezed most of the night. And although it is impossible to be conclusive, I became ill with flu-like symptoms later the next day as well, and I virtually never get sick. The towels were in such an odd state that both of us spent an inordinate amount of time trying to pull... More

Bathroom was quite small and dated. There was a washer and dryer but used clothing was left in both. No air conditioning was not an concern, but it was a cold night. There was no fan in our room. There was no restaurant and the free breakfast was poor. Street parking. More
