We stayed Thanksgiving weekend and were happy with everything at the B&B. Heather is very friendly, helpful and eager to please her guests. Breakfast was enjoyable, and there was a very friendly atmosphere throughout. The house is older but the bathroom was newly renovated with a nice shower. A great deal for travellers and tourists. We stayed at this property for just one night, prior to catching the ferry from North Sydney to Newfoundland. We wished we'd stayed longer as we found it to be a really restful night's sleep. I chose this location because it is within easy walking distrance of the ferry terminal (if you use the shortcut described by the owner). They were very accommodatiing of my late arrival, and my room was comfortable if a little dated and design-challenged. Breakfast was large and hot; sausages, eggs, toast, etc. No choices offered. More
