This Holiday Inn is on the backside of the Walmart and you can easily pass by it but keep going around until you see its marquee. Nothing spectacular about this hotel. Nice big bed but there was too much furniture in the room and it gave a cluttered feeling to the surroundings. Definitely not enough available outlets to connect up... More

Stay here quite often, the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The restaurant while having a limited menu has pretty good food. Above average for hotels outside St John's. More

The hotel is listed as being on Queen Street, easy way to access and find it is off of Main Street, it is attached to the Mall that contains Walmart. Stayed in this hotel for my brothers wedding. Were a bit ambilvalant with some of the comments of it being old. I have to say that it was very, very nice. We finished the ferry ride (as always the infamous Marine Atlantic service was never on time). Stayed here for one night. The hotel was not the best Holiday Inn we stayed at. The rooms looked very old fashioned and the hotel looked like in need of some renovatoion. The breakfast was great but not included in the room rate.. More

A great hotel in an 'off the beaten track' location. We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was very large, the beds were excellent and the housekeeping and lighting were phenomenal. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel itself is attached to a mall indoors which is perfect when the weather is inclement. More
