Staying at the Regent was a pleasant surprise. It was clean and updated and the staff were friendly. I was awakened to the sound of trains switching cars perhaps? or other train noises which wasn't so great. I was pleasantly surprised at the continental breakfast which was included. There was a lot of choice and it was very fresh. Hint:... More

I stayed at the Regent in March while skiing with CMH and the entire vacation was fantastic. There were some that complained of trains at night but my room was quiet except for street noise one evening. The staff was excellent and the meals were well prepared. I had the salmon, tuna and prongs but others that had the lamb... More

The Regent is a very nicely managed old hotel that has been renovated. Much of the year it is taken over by Canadian Mountain Holidays (CMH) for heli-ski and heli-hiking group trips (we were part of heli-ski group). Our experience there was mixed. We had asked in advance for a room away from the train tracks after reading other reviews.... More

This is definitely one of the best hotels in down town Revelstoke - but from a personal point of view I was disappointed. My room was small, my view was of an internal roof top and ventilation systems, my friend who paid the exact same rate had a much larger room with view of the street. it was hard to... More

The Regent is a combination of two historic downtown hotels that have been joined together into one, tastefully modernized hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. We found the price to be very reasonable, and they will allow pets. The location is in easy walking distance of stores, restaurants and entertainment. We have stayed at the Regent 3 times, while... Cute little town with alot to offer. We had a great meal there and would give it a 4 star easily. Our room was big, clean, bright with what looked to be resent up-grades. Well now it's time for bed and I can tell you I heard every flipp'n train that went through the station every 20min. What a shame.... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay due to the trains passing. Revelstoke is a railway community, infact the CPR has been apart of Revelstokes history since the 1880's. It is extremely difficult to be anywhere in the community and not hear the trains. But nevertheless, I apologize for no exceeding... More

This is an amazing place to stay! The staff are friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The hotel is very clean and reasonably priced. The 112 restaurant in the hotel had an excellent menu with a wide variety of well priced selections. Even the kids menu offered a great selection outside of the usual chicken fingers and burgers. Overall, I would highly... More

This is a great hotel, wonderful personal service the 2 nights we stayed, plus brilliant value for the family suite (2 rooms & 2 ensuite). We had meals in the steakhouse & they were really nice - recommend the salmon & lamb rack. The only complaint was the noise from the bar, or more accurately the street. We had a... More

We stayed at the Regent following a one week cruise from Vancouver, tired and exhausted. We had a large family (6), and wanted 1 room that we could rest for the night and continue our drive home to Alberta. Several hotels in town said we had to get two rooms, no cots were allowed. I decided to check the Regent.... More

Have stayed at the Regent at least 4 times, with the latest visit Sept.29/2012. Comfortable, clean rooms, friendly, helpful, informative staff. Generous continental breakfast included in the room price. It is very centrally located, free parking, and you are within walking distance of the downtown core. Make sure you visit the Museum, interesting artifacts and history of the town, as... More
